KNU students received information about free education in Germany

On February 19, 2024 Mr. Heiko Schuler, the Managing Director of the German company FAV Service gGMBH and Mr. Denis Nevinsky, the Head of the transnational project “Dual vocational training in Germany”, met with students studying at the college and lyceum of the National University. Bakyt Keldibekov, the Director of the Department for International Cooperation and Relations, opened the event and introduced the Rector Tolobek Abdrakhmanov to the guests. He thanked the guests who provided a good opportunity for the students and gave them special information, and invited the students to actively participate.

 

Students from Pusan National University to KNU were awarded certificates

On February 15, 2024 certificates were awarded to students who came from Pusan National University (Busan, Republic of Korea) for a language internship at the KNU Academy of Languages. Students who study Russian at their home university spent 2 weeks (from January 31 to February 15) improving their level of Russian with academy teachers, visiting museums, exhibitions, sightseeing in Bishkek and getting acquainted with Kyrgyz and Russian traditions and culture.

 

Rector met the representativ of Pusan National University

02On February 1, 2024 the Rector Tolobek Abdrakhmanov received the Head of the Department of Russian Language and Literature of Pusan National University Jan Min Chone. The Rector expressed his happiness to meet the Korean representative at the National University, and get familiarized with the Kyrgyz people, the culture, culture and history. Jan Min Chone thanked the Rector and university representatives for the warm welcome, and said the Pusan National University was ready to continue cooperation. 

 

Rector received a delegation from the Jeonbuk National University

On January 30, 2024 a large delegation from Jeonbuk National University of the Republic of Korea came to the National University. The guests were welcomed by Rector Tolobek Abdrakhmanov, Director on higher education Jenish Beksultanov, Vice-rector for administrative and economic affairs Bakytbek Aitahunov, and Director of the Department for International Cooperation and Relations Bakyt Keldibekov. After that, the members of the delegation could see the works performed on Kyrgyz and Korean national instruments in the lobby of the first floor.

 

"Anglia Examinations" international testing center was opened at the National University

00On January 24, 2024 the official opening ceremony of the "Anglia Examinations" international testing center was held at the National University. The center was opened in room 121 of the 5th educational building, and the red ribbon was cut by the Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Nurzhigit Kadyrbekov, the Rector of KNU Tolobek Abdyrakhmanov, and the official representative of the Great Britain "Anglia Examinations" Center Mr. Martin Klotz. During a small meeting held at the newly opened Center, Rector of KNU Tolobek Abdyrakhmanov, Deputy of the National Assembly Nurzhigit Kadyrbekov, Director of the Republican Institute of Advanced Training and Retraining of Pedagogical Staff Almazbek Toktomamatov, thanked the Center for providing opportunities for students and teachers to learn languages, and wished success to the Center's work. Baktybek Ismailov, the Director of the Agency for Accreditation of Educational Programs and Organizations, blessed the work of the project.

 

Mr. Mehmet Bodur, coordinator of TIKA, came to the National University

On January 17, 2024 Vice-rector for scientific affairs Nazarkul Ishekeev received the program coordinator of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) in the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Mehmet Bodur and his assistant Sanjar Altymyshev. The guests first visited the Turkish language teaching center equipped by TIKA, the digital technology center named after K. Toktomamatov and the Kyrgyz-Turkish resource center named after Aziz Sanjar. The next part of the meeting continued in the conference hall of the rectorate. Nazarkul Ishekeev gave brief information about the National University and thanked the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency for contributing to the development of the University. After that, Bakyt Keldibekov, Director of the Department for International Relations and Cooperation, made a brief presentation about the cooperation between TIKA and KNU.

 

Rector received the leaders of the KOPIA Center

On January 13, 2023 the Rector of KNU Tolobek Abdyrakhmanov received the Director of the Center of the KOrea Partnership for Innovation of Agriculture, RDA (KOPIA) in Kyrgyzstan, located in the botanical garden of KNU, Mr. Kwang Sog “Peter” Chu and the Manager of the KOPIA Center technology park, Mr. Kim Hyuk San. During the meeting, the parties discussed the results of the KOPIA Center’s work in 2023 and plans for the year of 2024. Representatives of the KOPIA Center reported that the experiment on the Sol Hyan strawberry variety, brought from Korea and grown in the greenhouse of the KNU Botanical Garden is going well.

 

The rector met with volunteers of the National University

On December 27, 2023 Rector Tolobek Abdyrakhmanov met with volunteers from the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Turkey. At the beginning of his speech, he thanked the guests for finding the time, opportunity and desire to meet with the administration of KNU. “I am even more grateful to you for working as volunteers at our university,” the Rector continued. – They are special people who engage in volunteering, because only devoted people can leave their families, their country, their parents, relatives, friends, to come to Kyrgyzstan and work at the National University.

 

Tolobek Abdyrakhmanov received the heads of KRJC and JICA

On December 27, 2023 Rector Tolobek Abdyrakhmanov met the Directors of the Kyrgyz-Japan Center (KRJC) Mr. Atsumu Iwai (from the Japanese side) and Almazbek Azimov (from the Kyrgyz side), Deputy Permanent Representative of JICA in Kyrgyzstan, Mr. Ikeda Hiroyuki, Kyrgyz-Japanese Center Project Coordinator, Mr. Tanaka Shinya, and Development Pograms Specialist, Mr. Almaz Jumagulov. During the meeting, Tolobek Abdyrakhmanov thanked the representatives of the Kyrgyz-Japanese Center on behalf of the National University personnel, congratulated them on the upcoming New Year, and handed over a letter of thanks from the Kyrgyz National University.

 

At the IMB held a scientific conference dedicated to the blessed memory of Professor A.A.Asanova

On December 26, 2023, in the large conference hall of KNU, an international scientific and practical conference was held, dedicated to the memory of the Honored Scientist of the Kyrgyz Republic, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Aisalkyn Asanovna Asanova on the topic: “Digitalization, innovative management and economics in the interests of sustainable development,” organized by Institute of Management and Business. The conference was attended by Aisalkyn Asanovna’s contemporaries, associates, colleagues, doctors of science, candidates, colleagues from Serbia, the USA, England, Russia, the Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, as well as her students, doctoral and master’s students.

 

7 students of KNU were awarded presidential scholarship

On December 23, 2023 the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, awarded presidential scholarships to the best 75 students of higher education institutions for the 2022-2023 academic year. Among them are seven students of Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn: Aliyev Zahid Bekzadaevich (Law Institute), Baetova Aigerim Baetovna (Institute of History and Regional Studies), Dosalieva Aliya Taalaibekovna (Faculty of Geography, Ecology and Tourism), Zairbekova Ayana Zairbekovna (Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science), Ismailova Kauhar Kubatovna (Kyrgyz-European Faculty), Mamatova Ayturgan Abdilashimovna (Law Institute), Marsbekova Aidai Marsbekovna (Institute of History and Regional Studies).

 

Rector received representatives of Shihezi University of the XUAR People’s Republic of China

On December 22, 2023 the Rector of KNU Tolobek Abdyrakhmanov received representatives of the Shihezi University of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People’s Republic of China, headed by the Deputy Director of the Institute of Foreign Languages, Mr. Song Chenfang. At the meeting in the conference room of the rector’s office, the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation between the two universities in the field of education, science and academic mobility of students and teaching staff.

 

September 21 was announced a Jusup Balasagyn Day

03At the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic held on December 22, 2023 September 21 was approved as Jusup Balasagyn Day, and from now on, this day is celebrated every year. This decision was taken by the Kyrgyz Government in order to preserve, develop and spread the works of the great thinker. This decision of the Cabinet of Ministers is particularly pleasant news for the community of the Kyrgyz National University, which has been named after Jusup Balasagyn since 2002. The great thinker said, “Reading is a candle in front of you at night. If you get knowledge, it will shine brightly!” His words are always remembered by the students and teaching staff of the university.

 

A youth forum was held at the National University

On December 21, 2023 a youth forum was held in the Big Assembly Hall of the main building. The event, which was organized with the aim of promoting the republican youth forum “Kyalymdagi Kyrgyzstan” was opened by the speech of the Director of the Youth Forum Kadyr uulu Almazbek. “If you want to contribute to development, I invite you all to become patriots of our country and our people. We must not forget that youth is a strategic resource of the state," he encouraged the students. All the Forum participants were shown a video where the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Nurgojoevich Japarov speaks about youth and their role in development issues.

 

Directions and tools for the development of scientific communications between scientists of the Russia and the Kyrgyzstan

01On December 18, 2023 a round table “Kyrgyzstan – Russia: directions and tools for the development of scientific communications” was held at the center of digital technologies, organized by the National Research Institute for the Development of Communications (Russia) and the Institute of History and Regional Studies of KNU. The event was held with the aim of expanding interaction between the scientific community of Russia and Kyrgyzstan to develop the scientific potential of the two countries. The participants of the round table were welcomed by the Rector of KNU Tolobek Abdyrakhmanov and the Deputy director for scientific work of National Research Institute for the Development of Communications Valentina Komleva.
