The newly appointed Director of the Kyrgyz-Japanese Center Mr. Maruyama Hideaki thanked the Rector for his time and said, “I worked as the head of the JICA office in Kyrgyzstan in 2008-2012. Now I have returned to Kyrgyzstan. I myself asked to be appointed to Kyrgyzstan and was happy when the decision was made. I would like to continue the activities between KRJC and KNU. I want to do things that bring good results not only to the Japanese center, but also to the KNU side,” he said.
The meeting was also attended by Bakyt Keldibekov, Director of the Department for International Cooperation and Relations, and Almazbek Azimov, Director of the Kyrgyz-Japanese Center from the Kyrgyz side.
