On May 13, 2024 the Rector of KNU, Tolobek Abdyrakhmanov, received representatives of the Liming Vocational University, led by the Vice-rector of LVU, Mr. Lin Zhaoyong. During the meeting, the parties discussed specific areas of cooperation between the two universities in the field of education and science. Both leaders expressed their readiness to cooperate and sign an agreement after preparing the relevant documents.

The meeting was also attended by: Director of the Institute of Information and Electronic Engineering of LVU Lian Shunjin, Director of the Institute of Foreign Languages and Tourism of LVU Zheng Zhiming, Director of the Institute of Engineering in the Field of New Materials, Shoes and Clothing Lu Mingxu, Deputy Director of the Institute for the Development of Intelligent Manufacturing Yan Guolin, as well as Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of KNU Jenish Beksultanov, Director of DICR Bakyt Keldibekov, Director of the Kyrgyz-Chinese Institute Sofya Apaeva, Co-Director of the Confucius Institute at KNU from the Kyrgyz side Jyldyz Usenbaeva, Co-Director of the Confucius Institute at KNU from the Chinese side Chen Zhiguo, and Director of the College of Law Daniyar Djumaliev.
