On May 13, 2024 a delegation from Hebei Normal University from Shijiazhuang, China visited KNU. The delegation was headed by the former Party Secretary of the HNU, Deputy Chairman of the Association of Chinese Historians, Mr. Dai Jianbing. At the meeting with Vice-rector for Academic Affairs Jenish Beksultanov, the parties discussed issues of cooperation between the two universities in the field of education and science.

The meeting was also attended by: Director of the Russian Center of the Institute of Foreign Studies of HNU Ms. Guo Xiaoli, Director of the Institute of International Cultural Exchanges of HNU Ms. Qi Xiaoyan, Researcher of the Russian Center of the Institute of Foreign Studies of HNU Ms. Chenghong, Director of the Muven Institute of Shijiazhuang Vocational College of Information Engineering Mr. Liu Jinkui, as well as the Director of the Institute of History and Regional Studies of KNU Turatbek Syrdybaev, the Dean of the Faculty of Russian and Slavic Philology Nurayim Sardarbek kyzy, the Dean of the Faculty of International Relations and Oriental Studies Nurgul Kazak kyzy, Co-Director of the Confucius Institute at KNU from the Kyrgyz side Jyldyz Usenbaeva, and the Co-Director of the Confucius Institute at KNU from the Chinese side, Chen Zhiguo.
