On April 16, 2024 Rector of KNU Tolobek Abdyrakhmanov received Mr. Park Kihyun, Professor of the Faculty of Computer Science at Keimyung University. During the meeting, issues of cooperation in the field of information technology between the two universities were discussed, as well as the process of implementing a 7-year international cooperation project, which is aimed at creating a department of artificial intelligence and changing the curriculum to strengthen the staff of the Institute of Computer Technologies and Artificial Intelligence of KNU.

Rector thanked the Korean partners for their significant contribution to the development of information and innovative technologies and strengthening the material and technical base of ICTAI, and also expressed hope that during the implementation of this project, ICTAI employees will gain new knowledge and experience.

It should be noted that this work has been carried out together by Keimyung University and the Department of International Cooperation and Relations of KNU since 2022. As part of the project, it is planned to attract Korean professors and experts, develop e-learning at KNU, open a PhD program in artificial intelligence, as well as strengthen the potential of ICTAI.

The meeting was also attended by: Mr. Yun Zhiyong, employee of the International Cooperation Department of Keimyung University, Director of DICR Baktybek Keldibekov, Director of ICTAI Amantur Ryspaev, professors of ICTAI Batygul Bayachorova and Sabira Nurzhanova.

Then, representatives of Keimyung University held meetings with teachers and students of the Institute of Computer Technology and Artificial Intelligence.
