On April 23, 2024 the Rector Tolobek Abdyrakhmanov received representatives of the University of Poitiers from France. At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean of the Kyrgyz-European Faculty Anara Kamalova introduced the guests from France to the Rector as follows: Doctor of Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of International Relations of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, Honorary Professor of KNU Philippe Rojon, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Economic Sciences Dominique Pepinne and statistics teacher Eliane Jan.

Tolobek Abdyrakhmanov said that he was glad to meet again with familiar colleagues and meet the new ones, and noted that they do a very great job for our students and teachers. He also informed representatives of the University of Poitiers about yesterday’s visit of representatives of the French Alliance to KNU.

The Head of the Department of international relations of the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Poitiers, Philippe Rojon, thanked the Rector of KNU for his efforts in promoting the French language at KNU. “We started working with the previous Rector and I am glad that there is continuity and support. It is very important. We are also glad that we are promoting the double degree program in the Kyrgyz Republic, and are very pleased with our cooperation,” concluded Philippe Rojon.
