On April 22, 2024 the team of the Kyrgyz-Chinese Institute, led by Rector Tolobek Abdyrakhmanov, met the delegation of the Jiaxing-Nanyang Vocational and Technical Institute consisting of the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of Xuzhou District, Mr. Chen Yueqian, Chairman of the People’s Congress of Honghe City, Mr. Zhang Jianrong, Secretary General of Jiaxing Honghe Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Xu Wei, Vice President of Jiaxing Nanyang Vocational Institute Ms. Feng Liwei and others.

The event was also attended by: Head of the Department of Higher, Secondary Professional and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Azamat Naimanbaev, Deputy of the Bishkek City Council Ramina Idyrova, Assistant to the Deputy of the Parliament, General Director of Central Asia International Development LLC Syimyk Karypbaev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Central Asia International Development Company Mr. Yue Hefu, Financial manager of the Central Asia International Development Company Mr. Yue Guangcheng, as well as undergraduates and students of KCI KNU named after J. Balasagyn.

Rector of KNU Tolobek Abdyrakhmanov, on his welcoming the members of the delegation, highly noted the importance of this day. According to him, the implementation of the Cross-Border E-Commerce Program is supported by the government, and it is very gratifying to note that the first e-commerce institute will operate within the walls of the National University.

The event resulted in signing an Agreement on the creation of the Institute of Electronic Commerce “One Belt – One Road” on the basis of KNU named after J. Balasagyn and the opening of signs “China-Kyrgyz Institute of Cross-Border Electronic Commerce” and “China-Kyrgyz Industrial Park Jiaxing”.

Further, the management of the KCI under the leadership of Director S. Apaeva and members of the delegation of Jiaxing-Nanyang Vocational Institute discussed at the round table the further plan for the implementation of the project in accordance with the curriculum and programs.
