At the IMB held a scientific conference dedicated to the blessed memory of Professor A.A.Asanova

On December 26, 2023, in the large conference hall of KNU, an international scientific and practical conference was held, dedicated to the memory of the Honored Scientist of the Kyrgyz Republic, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Aisalkyn Asanovna Asanova on the topic: “Digitalization, innovative management and economics in the interests of sustainable development,” organized by Institute of Management and Business. The conference was attended by Aisalkyn Asanovna’s contemporaries, associates, colleagues, doctors of science, candidates, colleagues from Serbia, the USA, England, Russia, the Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, as well as her students, doctoral and master’s students.

The conference was opened by the rector of KNU Tolobek Abdrakhmanov. In his speech, he emphasized the fruitful scientific and labor activity of Aisalkyn Asanovna Asanova and expressed deep gratitude to the event’s sponsors, organizers and participants from far and near abroad.

It should be noted that sixty articles presented at the conference will be published in the journal Izvestiya Vuzov, and five articles will be published in one of the SCOPUS journals, sponsored by the family of A. Asanova.

In his memorable speech, one of her family friends, Medetkan Sherimkulov, a public figure, Hero of the Kyrgyz people, who worked together with A.A. Asanova, highlighted many of Aisalkyn Asanovna’s features not only in science, but also as a person.

Karypbek Alymkulov, one of her family friends, an honored worker of industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, an honored energy engineer of the CIS, in his speech confirmed that A.A. Asanova is a unique person and a high-level scientist, and touched on some aspects of her life.

Advisor to the President of Narxoz University of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Doctor of Economics, Professor Samagan Umirzakov noted in his speech that A.A. Asanova worked for many years as a member of the dissertation council at Narxoz University and was a specialist of a high professional level. He emphasized that her contribution was significant as a scientific leader not only for the Kyrgyz people, but also for educating the younger generation in Kazakh science.

Vesna Bjegovic-Mikanovic, Doctor of Public Health and Administration of Serbia, Professor at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Belgrade, gave a video message about A.A. Asanova. She described in detail the professor's activities, important role and contributions within the Swiss project in recent years.

Ruslan Tatikov, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, one of A. Asanova’s students, noted that A. A. Asanova played a big role in his professional development as a scientist-mentor, who knew how to set strict requirements and could show the right path.

Partner of the Institute, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor of the Eurasian National University named after L. N. Gumilyov Makysh Serik Bikhanuly (Republic of Kazakhstan) wished success to the participants of the conference in an online format. In his memoirs, he noted that A. Asanova was a creative organizer, skillfully carried out cooperation between two educational institutions, which is confirmed by the fact that the scientific school of Professor A. Asanova was also created in Kazakhstan, and doctoral degrees were defended under her scientific leadership.

Director of the IMB named after A.A. Asanova, conference moderator, associate professor Merimkul Kerimkulova continued the plenary session, expressing deep gratitude to all guests, participants and sponsors.

  • Nurzhan Dzhumabaev, chief social expert of the EBRD, topic: “Country reports on digitalization, environmental and social indicators and sustainable development in the Kyrgyz Republic”;
  • David Williams, Lead Bioinformatician, UK Health Authority, PhD, topic: “The health and well-being of nations: preparing for new challenges in the health system”;
  • Kydyraliev Syrgak Kaparovich, Doctor of Economics, American University of Central Asia, topic: “Don’t miss the train of progress”;
  • Shatmanov Isken Sadybakasovich, student of A. Asanova, Doctor of Economic Sciences, topic: “Theoretical and methodological aspects of institutional analysis of the country’s development”;
  • Atyshev Kobogon Atyshevich, Vice-Rector for Science and State Language of the National Research University named after M. Ryskulbekov, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, topic: “Improving state regulation of the tourism business in the Kyrgyz Republic”;
  • Abdyrov Tolonbek Shakirovich, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the Department of Economics and Management at the Kyrgyz International University, topic: “The influence of cluster development on the socio-economic development of regions.”

The topics discussed at the plenary session are within the scope of scientific interests of Professor A. Asanova.

Following the plenary meeting, the participants took part in the opening ceremony of the multimedia hall of the IMB named after Asanova (building No. 8, room 417). The renovation and equipment of this hall was carried out with the financial assistance of the children of A.A. Asanova and the support of the administration. Also, the certificate of the “A. Asanova Scholarship Fund” was awarded to the director of the Institute of Management and Business, associate professor Merimkul Kerimkulova.

Rector Tolobek Abdyrakhmanov noted that the opened multimedia conference room will make a great contribution to the quality training of personnel, the development of scientific potential and international partnership of the Institute of Management and Business named after A.A. Asanova, wishing new success to the staff of the institute, presented a letter of gratitude to the sons and daughters of Aisalkyn Asanovna Kubat, Merim, Zhyldyz Seitbekovs.

The conference then continued in the following sections according to the agenda:

Section 1. “The role of management and business in achieving sustainable development goals” (in the main hall of the main building of KNU);

Section 2. “Globalization of modern business technologies: marketing, logistics and quality management” (main building of KNU, room 247);

Section 3. “Modern green agenda - direction of environmental development” (main building of KNU, room 248);

Section 4. “Modern challenges and opportunities of the country’s financial system” (main building of KNU, room 248);

Section 5. “Accounting and taxes in an innovative economy” (main building of KKU, room 231);

Section 6. “Management and social innovation in the era of digital transformation (socio-legal aspect)” (building No. 8, room 417).

Section 7. “Innovation and the global future of education development” (building No. 8, room 417).

In each section, topical issues were discussed depending on the areas.

At the end of the conference, speakers and participants were awarded certificates and letters of gratitude.
