The rector met with volunteers of the National University

07

On December 27, 2023 Rector Tolobek Abdyrakhmanov met with volunteers from the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Turkey. At the beginning of his speech, he thanked the guests for finding the time, opportunity and desire to meet with the administration of KNU. “I am even more grateful to you for working as volunteers at our university,” the Rector continued. – They are special people who engage in volunteering, because only devoted people can leave their families, their country, their parents, relatives, friends, to come to Kyrgyzstan and work at the National University.

- I know that you work in non-standard, even slightly difficult conditions, in an unfamiliar environment, and at the same time you do not demand anything from us. You just want to work and help our students, teachers, and our university. So thank you very much!

Further, he appealed to the heads of delegations so that there would be more volunteers next year. - Suggest what needs to be done so that there are more volunteers, so that there is more intensive, interesting and useful work with you. We will also take reciprocal steps regarding volunteers. We will try to create more or less comfortable, pleasant conditions for both you and our students, - noted Tolobek Ablyrakhmanov.

At the end of his speech, the rector said: - Dear friends! On behalf of the 30 thousand staff of KNU, I express my deep gratitude to you, your families, your parents and your states. Let me emphasize once again that not everyone can be a volunteer. I understand perfectly well how difficult it is, and at the same time dangerous. Despite this, you work with our students. I would like to emphasize that you are doing a good job! Feedback from our students, teachers and deans about the work of volunteers is very high. I hope that we will continue to work together in the new year. There are good suggestions on your part. Every year there should be something new, something good, something interesting. Otherwise, humanity, Kyrgyzstan, and our university will not develop. Therefore, I wish you to be safe and sound, be healthy and fine, and I wish your homelands peace and stability. And I wish you to be full of new proposals and ideas. And the administration will try to support you in those ideas. And thus we will have interesting work. Thank you!

During the meeting, organized by the International Cooperation and Relations Department, the word was also given to the following speakers: the Director of TTOMER, Mr. Mustafa Bulut, the Director of the Confucius Institute, Mr. Zheng Zhiguo, and the Director of the Center for Education and Science, Mr. Kim Jae-Yong.
