On October 27, 2023 another seminar focused on the methods of working with scientific databases was held in room 218 of educational building No5. Faculty of foreign languages, Kyrgyz philology, Russian and Slavic philology and teaching staff of the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities attended the meeting. Vice-rector for scientific affairs Nazarkul Ishekeev, while opening the seminar, noted that the main goal of the university via such kind of activities is to increase the academic success of our university, improve research activities, rise to the national and international level, publish and improve articles in Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar, RINC databases. He also emphasized the need to give foremost importance to these activities.

After that, Urmat Tynaliev, an expert of the Ministry of Education and Science, PhD, a graduate of the University of Minnesota in America, associate professor of the International Ala-Too University, made a three-hour long presentation “Issues of writing and publishing a scientific article in a journal indexed in the Scopus database”.

The end of the report was followed by questions and answers, and the seminar was effectively concluded.
