On October 18, 2023 Azerbaijani publicist, historian, political scientist, theologian Teymur Oktay ogly Ataev and the Special and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Azerbaijan Republic, Honored Lawyer of the Kyrgyz Republic, Professor Kairat Osmonaliev visited the National University. During the meeting with Rector Tolobek Abdyrakhmanov such issues as the book written by Teymur Ataev "Chyngyz Aitmatov and modernity. On the hopes and future of humanity" and issues of expanding cooperation between the Kyrgyz National University and universities of the Republic of Azerbaijan were discussed.

After the meeting, a book by Teymur Oktay oglu Ataev was presented in the Small Conference Hall of the main building.

The event was organized by the Institute for Retraining and Advanced Training under the leadership of Alaybek Shamshiev.
