This time the changes affected the flowerbeds on the east and west sides of the main building, i.e. they also included monuments fenced in the garden opposite them. We all saw these monuments when we passed them by, not only the guests from the outside, but also the vast majority of the university staff did not know when, to whom they were placed, what were the names and who the authors were. Considering this situation, as soon as Tolobek Abdyrakhmanov became the rector of KNU, at the beginning of October 2022, the press service of the university photographed all the monuments and handed them over to the artist of the educational institution, Bolot Chegebaev, who was given the task to clarify the data with the help of pictures and names to monuments and authors.

Research work was carried out in various archives from November last year to April this year at the National Academy of Arts named after T.Sadykov, as a result, these monuments were collected in September-October 1998 on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the birth of the great writer Ch. Aitmatov.  The author, name and material of each monument have been established in the works of the sculptors participating in the XI Republican Symposium in honor of «Works of Ch. Aitmatov in fine arts".

On behalf of the rector, the Dean of the Faculty of Kyrgyz Philology Bakyt Zhailoobaev and his assistant Aktilek Soltonoev prepared information about each monument in the Kyrgyz language. Having collected the necessary materials, the head of the press service Jeenbek Eraliev opened a special section on the website of the university, posted information about monuments there and entered a QR code for each monument.

On June 5-8, 2023, by order of the university, 36 plates with the above information were made and installed in front of the monuments. The author, title, year of construction, material, QR code of the monument are written on plaque. In addition to the above, you can get information about this work and the work of Ch.
